In 2019, after the general election, BJP/NDA (National Democratic Alliance) came to power for the 2nd consecutive time in India.
This time the government focused on industrial growth by reducing corporate taxes & making laws that could benefit each industry. Due to these changes in law; the Indian economy booms; mainly the IT sector.
During this period Prime Minister Narendra Modi had been focusing on economic growth & making the country a World Guru who can be followed.
So, he suggested to Gaming Industries to create a World Class game to showcase our country’s talent & potential.
nCore Games took this suggestion seriously and made India’s first-ever battle royale game, “FAUG.”
The game was inspired by the fight between Indian and Chinese defense forces at Galwan Valley.
As the game showcases patriotism; it was released on India’s Republic Day, January 26, 2021.
Now, FAUG has been withdrawn from the Play Store, as the developers aim to launch a better version named “FAUG Domination”.
It is now under beta testing & developers are trying to polish the game for a better gaming experience.
And the developers revealed that they will release the game in 2025. As January 26 passed, they may choose to release the game on the next biggest national occasion, Independence Day, August 15, 2025.
